About Roberta Green-Garrett

A real estate investor with more than five decades of experience, Roberta Green-Garrett earned a bachelor of arts in education with a minor in business from Innard University of North Georgia College. She spent two years as a teacher before focusing on real estate investment and business. Together with her husband, Sherman, she built Greens Department Store in Dahlonega, Georgia, where she spent nearly a decade as the store manager. In her role with Greens Department Store, Ms. Green-Garrett monitored customer trends to maximize revenue, managed all employees, and created budgets and financial records. She and her husband subsequently built Greenbriar Shopping Center in Dahlonega, Georgia, and managed a Gibson’s Discount Center for several years. Since 1998, Roberta Green-Garrett has owned and managed a Holiday Inn Express. She has also invested in several properties in Coral Cape and Fort Myers, Florida. Outside of her professional pursuits, she is committed to her faith and personal relationships.
